stands for search engine optimization and is basically used to improve rankings
and increase awareness of websites in search engines. It is basically making
the website better so that every search engine can understand it and display it
whenever user types in the keywords. The keywords used frequently by L’Oreal
include Shampoo, conditioner and damage
hair repair. Both websites has similar keywords which may result in similar
ranking on search engines.

As we can see, L’Oreal is gaining more interest as
compared to Neutrogena. Neutrogena is on a constant track without less ups and
downs, whereas L’Oreal got a boost in interest in end of January 2016. L’Oreal
has been searched mostly in Poland whereas Neutrogena has been searched in
Vietnam. (Google, 2016)
SUMMARY
L’Oreal uses more keywords as compared to Neutrogena.
On the other hand Neutrogena’s description is longer and more accurate. The
mobile site provided my L’Oreal is easier to use as compared to Neutrogena.
Both the websites are easy to navigate but L’Oreal do provide site map making
it easier to navigate. The links provided to various social websites are less
in Neutrogena whereas L’Oreal provides accounts like snapchat, Instagram and
even pin interest. Neutrogena’s website is easier to read as the text is placed
on a white background as compared to L’Oreal where a grey color text is placed
on black background
CONCLUSION
In my opinion, L’Oreal is a better website for a user
as it is more easy to use and the use of embedded videos plays and important
role to display their products. Even though L’Oreal has less keywords to use,
they make proper use of the ones they are using.
