Tressemè vs. Burt’s Bee’s on YouTube

On YouTube, Tressemé has 25,112 subscribers and 16,196,282 views. Burt’s Bee’s has 3,755 subscribers and 3,233,825 views. Tressemé does not have a description for their channel but Burt’s Bees has a description, which highlights who they are as a company and incorporates it into the world of YouTube, some keywords they used were beauty, natural, and product.


Tressemé used to post approximately everyday or every other day but posting has stopped last month. The types of videos they post are tutorials for certain hairstyles. In these tutorials they incorporate there own styling products and tools to help advertise their company.

One of there successful videos was the tutorial Tressemé did with Chrissy Teigen. Tressemé and Chrissy Teigen teamed up to create a video called “Get touchable volume with Chrissy Teigen”.  This video achieved 2,422,186 views and 45 likes with 0 dislikes. I believe this video became popular due to the fact they incorporated a celebrity. Chrissy Teigen has many fans herself who most likely watched the video themselves.

Burt’s Bees YouTube page has many videos. They post weekly or bi-weekly with videos about famous events, product information, and advertisement. The videos all average about 2,000 views. Burt’s Bee’s also posts videos about events that relate to the industry that their subscribers may be interested in.

One of there successful videos was called “Burt talks to the Bees”. This video included a actor impersonating Burt, the founder of the company, and Burt is talking to a bunch of actors impersonating Bees. I believe this video became popular because of the creativity behind the concept. It was interesting to watch. This video received 339,353 views and 441 likes with 27 dislikes. It has the highest views in the channel
